Mr. Rashid has an extensive background as an entrepreneur and as an administrator. He is truly a business and economic development dynamo, through aggressive outreach, diplomacy, and the savoir-faire to get things done. As President & CEO of SECTOR Public Private Partners, Inc. (SPPP) Mr. Rashid is currently engaged and advising private developers and various levels of government on strategic plans and real estate development projects and business and economic development initiatives. He assists his clients in developing their project scope, defining goals and objectives, developing a public participation process, developing implementation strategies. Identifying and resourcing public andprivate funding. ensures that his SPPP clients plans will be both feasible and implementable
In his former role as President of Collaborative Development Corporation, Mr. Rashid successfully
- Executed the $22,000,000, Development; Gibson Plaza, a mixed-use housing development featuring a branch of Miami Dade College
- Crafted a $5,000,000 scattered site, affordable Infill single family housing project in collaboration with City of Miami
- Established KROMA Art Gallery during Art Basel 2013, which was proven to be a most exciting and promising installation in South Florida’s bourgeoning art industry. The KROMA concept served as a multidisciplinary arts and media center designed to support artists and engage the public.
Mr. Rashid was educated at University of Wisconsin, Madison in Business Administration, he holds a custom brokers training certificate from Logistic Training Systems, he is a graduate of the Bank of America Leadership Academy and Development Training Institute
