As eCommerce and Warehouse Needs Increase, Developers Turn to Hialeah

A new distribution and warehouse project is underway in Hialeah.

Miami Axis Park will consist of 415,460 square feet across three Class A warehouse buildings, and will cater specifically to eCommerce and last mile distribution users looking for a place to house their operations in Miami, according to CRE-sources.

Located at 727 SE 9th Court, the project is strategically located within the city’s urban core–25% of Miami-Dade County’s population is within 5 miles of the property, says Lincoln Property Company, who is developing the project. Tenants will have multiple routes to the Port of Miami, Miami International Airport, Port Everglades and direct access to Doral, Downtown, Brickell and Coral Gables.

The project also represents continued growth for the area. As ComReal previously reported, competition for warehouse and factory space is fierce, and Hialeah and the surrounding areas are seeing an influx of commercial projects looking to take advantage of growing industrial and warehouse needs.
