The founders of Cuban restaurant classic, Montes de Oca Pizzeria, are bringing a new restaurant to the revised streets of Coconut Grove thanks to the efforts of ComReal | Miami – Coral Gables, LLC agent, Gavin Winston, who represented the tenant in this deal. The new concept called, “OCA,” will be located at 3324 Virginia Street, in the heart of the walkable commercial district of Miami’s Coconut Grove, one block from CocoWalk and the Mayfair Hotel in a neighborhood with plenty of parking available for guests. OCA will focus on upscale Cuban Cuisine and offer a full bar with all the classic favorites and new creative cocktails.
“Montes De Oca is a great operator and will fill a need for Cuban cuisine and cocktails in Coconut Grove,” said ComReal’s Gavin Winston, who was able to help negotiate the deal in favor of his client. In fact, the restaurant space was originally 3,878, SF but the tenant only needed approximately 3,000 SF. ComReal was able to negotiate on behalf of the tenant to have the space divided at the landlord’s cost. The final space delivered was 3,013 SF inclusive of a stage for live music and a full bar, in addition to a wraparound outdoor dining area that will offer patrons the opportunity to dine al fresco throughout the coming winter months when the weather in Miami is perfect.
Montes De Oca currently has five quick-service locations throughout South Florida. The OCA Grove location has a slated opening date of November 15, 2020.
